Responsibilities include directing, training, and monitoring technicians in preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities to ensure the company’s machinery, systems, and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.

1st shift: 7am-3:30pm

2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm

3rd shift: 11pm-7:30am

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adds controls to custom machine builds including panel building, electrical install, pneumatics installs, and hydraulics install
  • Troubleshoots BCS and DCS controls systems
  • Refurbishes equipment for current production needs
  • Updates prints as needed
  • Works with design, engineering and build teams to startup, debug & validate projects
  • Communicates with supervisors, peers and customers as needed
  • Assists in activities of facilities and maintenance
    • MRO, spare parts & tool room inventory
    • Chiller systems, water treatment and purification systems, valve control systems (DCS), facility electrical and HVACR monitoring systems
    • Air handling and air quality for control of clean room environments
    • Storage tanks and product line systems
    • New equipment set-up and contracting
  • Collaborates with Production Manager to schedule preventative maintenance activities.
  • Collaborates with the Plant Manager to build world-class Total Productive Maintenance teams that will keep production equipment in excellent condition, keep lines running at high efficiencies and maintain proper stock of all service and repair parts.
  • Works with engineering and quality group to determine meantime to failure calculations, plans budgets and tasks accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the industrial automation industry. Relevant education is appreciated
  • Vocational, Journeyman or Master Electrician’s certification preferred
  • An above average electrical and mechanical aptitude is a must
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret controls prints
  • A good working understanding of AutoCAD
  • An advanced understanding of problem solving / troubleshooting methodologies and tools
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Knowledgeable about electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devices used on industrial machinery
  • Possess a working knowledge of industry standard practices and techniques for machining, building and drafting
  • Must thrive in a team effort to achieve success for the company and our customers
  • Must possess efficient organizational skills to follow timelines, prioritize, multitask to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, on time delivery, and quality of our products
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 75lbs properly
